About Me

I have always been known for my questions.
Others regularly say: “Good question Jana. I have never thought of that before.”

So it is really no wonder that I would be drawn to asking powerful questions to help someone make their life better.

I have been working in higher education working 1:1 with college students and creating programming that focused on a student’s holistic success for over ten years now.  I love college students.  Not only do they keep me young and have fantastic energy, but they are at such an important time of life where the reality of autonomy and choice-making become very impactful to their day-to-day life. The 1:1 conversations where I was able to offer differing perspectives or considerations, make a concrete plan for academic success, or simply listen to a hard moment in another’s life is what led me to a career in life coaching.

I hold a Masters in Higher Education as well as Co-Active Coach Training.

Through my experience and my training, I have come to understand that there needs to be a wide variety of support offered to people.  So I see Life Coaching as one type of support that tailors to someone’s present circumstances and takes active steps towards and more satisfying future.

Along with my love for my career, I enjoy spending time with my hubby and two kids, listening to good music, and eating great food.

I look forward to meeting you!
